error message is from Windows98, no message in message tab of BOINC 4.13. Work seems to be progressing, just don't want to be spinning wheels if there is a problem.

Is there any additional information in the stdout or stderr files in your BOINC or projects/climateprediction.net/{result_name} directory Jon?

The sulphur cycle 4.10 model won't run on windows 98 either. So it seems likely that Windows 98 is the problem not cc4.13. I suppose you could try BOINC cc4.19 and BOINCcc 4.25. However it looks like a fix is needed.
