error message is from Windows98, no message in message tab of BOINC 4.13. Work seems to be progressing, just don't want to be spinning wheels if there is a problem. Running an AMD Althon64 3400 on an Asus board. Windows occasionally says: Visual Fortran run-time error forrtl: severe (30): open failure, unit 6, file CONOUT$ Image PC Routine Line Source in each column, Line and Source are always Unknown... HADSM3UM_4.10_WIN 008C756B HADSM3UM... and different numbers follow then KERNEL32.DLL 3 x and various numbers... Well, just thought I'd check if this is an issue to worry about. Currently I just click "OK" and ignore it. Thanks! |

Hmmm. A successful 4.04 run completed yesterday and 3 failed 4.10 runs with -5 errors since. Is there any additional information in the stdout or stderr files in your BOINC or projects/climateprediction.net/{result_name} directory Jon? The sulphur cycle 4.10 model won't run on windows 98 either. So it seems likely that Windows 98 is the problem not cc4.13. I suppose you could try BOINC cc4.19 and BOINCcc 4.25. However it looks like a fix is needed. Visit BOINC WIKI for help And join BOINC Synergy for all the news in one place. |
