OK i got an account id now what? I'm lost as to what I'm supposed to do next.

There is a very full guide to BOINC <a href="http://boinc-doc.net/index.php">here</a>.

To start you need first to install and run BOINC (from Model download on your left). It is best to install on a drive where you have lots of space, and to say no to running it as a screensaver.

Then go to settings in the BOINC window, and attach to a project by putting in the web address and the ID you were given when you signed up.

You should look in the messages tab and see if you are told of any problems. You should find that a program is downloaded and then starts (look in the work tab and if it is running you can right click on the work unit and view the progress).

If you are having problems ask again.
