My notebook which has a mobile AMD AthlonXP 1900+ is getting red hot and the fan never turns off, so I was thinking of turning it\'s speed down to 500mhz. The problem is, will I get the same ammount of credit for it\'s work, less ammount or more?

You'll get less credit because you will slow down your processor. This means you will do less work / timeinterval. For each timestep you'll get about 0.004 credit but if you do less work you compute less timesteps so you get less credit.

(how many times did i use less? :D)

well the way I'm doing stats is that you get the same credit per hadsm3 model, it's just that if you're running slower it will take you longer to get this credit.
