Hi there Not directly related to climate but no doubt some element of climate change will come into this docu/drama on BBC1/2 (UK TV Channels) tonight and tomorrow. Should be worth watching. Pete |

2.1 million years ago, 1.3 million years ago, and 640,000 years ago. that implies an eruption is occuring approximately every 600 to 700 thousands years does it???? 2.1-1.3=0.8 last time I checked. Wouldn't it have been better to indicate something more like 550 to 900 thousand year gaps? Or is there some evidence to indicate that the gap will be less than than the 800k years between 2.1MYA to 1.3MYA? |
