Dear Staff, My PC is currently working on WU, but I'm afraid it might not get finished before the shown deadline. I don't want to leave my PC turned on just to work on it, so the question is, if it turns out that I won't get through my WU on time, whether my results can be used anyway? Thank you, Florian |

This question has been asked before, but no one has taken that long to complete a model, so we don't know the answer. Creating a 45 year model of the global climate is not really a part time job. How long it takes you will depend on how much processor time you allow it. If you don't want your computer left on, you may be better off running one of the other projects, which apparently only take a few hours. But if you want to run climateprediction, welcome to the 'round the world boat race' of computing. Les |
