Folks,

I have the GUI (startup) client running successfully, but would like to install it as a service so it runs independent of user logins. On my Windows 2000 boxes, here is the problem I encounter:

C:\Program Files\BOINC>boinc_cli.exe -install
CreateService failed - The specified service has been marked for deletion. (0x43
0)

The service does not show up at all under Services. Any thoughts?

The 4.25 version will install as a service from the installer program.
