I am trying to run Boinc on a second computer and keep getting a "Master fetch file failed" message. This is a copy of what the message tab reads when I start the Boinc software:

I have copied the "account_*.xml files from the first computer to the second and am not running either a firewall or proxy server. Both machines are connected to a High Speed moden via a D-Link router so I don't think it's a router or modem issue as the first machine works just fine.

Any suggestions would be most appreciated.

together with the fact that only 1 computer shows on your account.

In other words, you haven't told the PROJECTS that you have a second computer.

I only have one machine myself, so, guessing, it may be 'Attach to new project' that is missing. (Wording from BOINC V4.25).

It is some kind of communications issue. Since at least 3 projects are unable to get their master URL, I would look on your end for the problem.
