Is my memory faulty or was this number ~36,000 not long ago?

"Active Hosts (Trickled Within Last Two Weeks)
33534"

If my recollection is correct, it would be good to have a fix for the 4.10/4.11 problem before the project implodes...

Hyperbole? Time will tell.

From home page:

Trickling machines
36406
BOINC - 33533
Classic - 2873

So total trickling is still over 36,000. BOINC alone has never been over 36,000. Highest boinc total was a couple of days ago at 33571.

However it takes a couple of weeks for hosts to drop out of the active trickling machine count. Where will we be in a couple of weeks? :~

For a measure that responds more quickly to such problems, look at model years:

6 days ago I calculated model years per day of 23,126 which was close to the highest ever. In the last day I see only 16,827 which is the lowest since 28th January (Nature paper published 27th Jan gave big boost to numbers).

Mea culpa. Thanks. (That's what I get for trusting memory.)

So far, I've shut down one machine for "lack" of work an two more will be turned off in a few days -- unless Tolu puts up a solution.

If I remember the stats right.
On the one hand, the number of active hosts is down by over 1,000.
On the other, 10,000 complete runs have been added in less than a month, which I think is the fastest so far.
