Hi Steven, I had the same thing happen. After a fairly exhaustive set of tests, I narrowed it down to my antivirus SW interacting with the cpdn model. I was using antivir. Try a full uninstall of your AV SW. (has to be an uninstall so that nothing is left in memory). Also - I wonder if there is an interaction with Zone Alarm - nothing conclusive but a few pointers that this may happen. OS is WinXP SP2. AV is AVG free version 7.0.308 and firewall is Zone Alarm 5.5 Personal. It's a bit hard to diagnose the problem, or to tell if there what's causing it, as the new model it loaded after the last one crashed seems to be working fine. The work unit was already started, and had been running for a bit fine. |
