Hello, I have a work unit with the status shown below. Am I wasting my time by processing this unit, or is this just some harmless anomaly? I guess it\'s that exit status that has me concerned. Server state In Progress Outcome Unknown Client state Downloaded Exit status -185 (0xffffff47) Also, is there a way to get a WU thrown back into the heap so that it will get worked on? When I first loaded the 4.02 client for CPDN, I forgot to change my startup file and it reloaded the Seti@home gui and deleted my forst WU and I had to download another. Error -185 is #define ERR_RESULT_START ... Are you sure this unit is still being worked on? (btw, go away, you cannot have rank 226, I have it .. ;)) -------------------- Jordâ„¢ |

That's a good question. With the other BOINC projects, a WU will sit in purgatory until the deadline is reached, then added back to the pool to be sent out. I wonder if CPDN will operate the same way? Perhaps if a WU isn't sending trickles, it can be re-assimilated after a certain length of time? |

The exit status -185 is also discussed in this thread. |
