Looking at host 135074, I am running the model for result number 782155. However this result number does not appear in the list of results for my host machine. Instead when I click on the result ID I find myself looking at the results for host number 57949. Host number 57949 belongs to someone in the french team and is nothing to do with me. I suspect my CPU time for this result number is going to the wrong team? Can anyone fix this? Host number 57949 seems to have rather too many results against it, so I suspect this is happening regularly with other peoples results. I think things went wrong when I uploaded climate prediction results from my laptop which doesnt have access to the internet. I did it by copying the BOINC directory to host ID 135074's harddrive, and let that machine upload the results. I put the original BOINC directory back afterwards and let it carry on processing its original models, one of which is now against the wrong host. Oh Yes and I merged hosts because it was listed twice in my hosts list. (Maybe that caused the confusion!) Heres hopeing someone can shed a light on the subject. Thanks Chris. |

I don't know how much light I can shed on it Chris, but although the result is registered against host ID 57646, the trickles (and hence credits) are being registered against your host ID 135074. As far as the 658 results for host ID 57949 go, it looks like 631 of them (including the one you're running) were assigned but not downloaded while the host was trying (and failing) to upload 65 trickles from its previous model. It balances to the figure on my profile. This means that the 1000 odd credits for work on my missing result are not included, so Im afraid I have to disagree with you. Chris |
