A message is logged after every timestep like this 29lj_300126824 - PH 1 TS 100904 - 03/10/1816 04:00 - H:M:S=0131:25:09 AVG= 4.69 DLT=34.44 I run boinc with the "-redirectio" option so the timestep messages are written to the file stdoutdae.txt. When that file reaches a certain size, boinc moves the content to stdoutdae.old and writes new messages to the beginning of stdoutdae.txt. But the CPDN Client continues to write at the old end position of that file. This results in a huge file stdoutdae.txt which has a big gap between the the first boinc message and the first timestep log. Example: 2005-04-27 16:00:03 [climateprediction.net] Sending request to scheduler: http://climateapps2.oucs.ox.ac.uk/cpdnboinc_cgi/cgi 2005-04-27 16:00:04 [climateprediction.net] Scheduler RPC to http://climateapps2.oucs.ox.ac.uk/cpdnboinc_cgi/cgi succeeded ( About 4MB of zero bytes ) 29lj_300126824 - PH 1 TS 097219 - 16/07/1816 09:30 - H:M:S=0236:32:13 AVG= 8.76 DLT= 3.78 29lj_300126824 - PH 1 TS 097220 - 16/07/1816 10:00 - H:M:S=0236:32:49 AVG= 8.76 DLT=36.34 29lj_300126824 - PH 1 TS 097221 - 16/07/1816 10:30 - H:M:S=0236:32:52 AVG= 8.76 DLT= 2.96 29lj_300126824 - PH 1 TS 097222 - 16/07/1816 11:00 - H:M:S=0236:32:56 AVG= 8.76 DLT= 3.94 29lj_300126824 - PH 1 TS 097223 - 16/07/1816 11:30 - H:M:S=0236:33:00 AVG= 8.76 DLT= 3.90 |
