I had a power failure and all 6 computers went down. When they were restarted two on WINXP started from the beginning of the unit. One was half way through phase 3 and now shows 177,000hrs to complete though of course dropping rapidly. (the CPU time is showing 470hrs) Is it worth letting it go through the whole unit again or should I start afresh. BOINC 4.19 HADSM3 4.10 WinXP

It depends on how much you like credits. You won't get any credits until you get back to the point you were before the crash. I reset in a similar situation. Tis a shame there's no easy way to recover from this...unless you have a recent backup? |
