Hi,

I have attempted to install BOINC as a service, but am having some problems:

C:\Program Files\BOINC>boinc_cli -install
CreateService failed - The specified service has been marked for deletion. (0x43
0)

C:\Program Files\BOINC>boinc_cli -uninstall
OpenService failed - The specified service does not exist as an installed servic
e. (0x424)

C:\Program Files\BOINC>boinc_cli -install
CreateService failed - The specified service has been marked for deletion. (0x43
0)

C:\Program Files\BOINC>

Does anybosy recognise these symptoms and have a potential resolution? I am on v4.13 and the GUI is running fine.

I would advise upgrading to 4.25. It is much easier to install as a service with that version.

Before the 4.25, try the 4.19.
