2 of the last 3 runs on this PC have resulted in the -1073741819 errors. In each case, it was at the end of a phase...the most recent at the end of phase 2, the previous at the end of phase 3. This occurred right at the end of computation, but before the end of phase/run trickles were supposed to be uploaded. Both times were while I was sleeping. No graphics were displayed at the time.

Scanned for virus with two separate antivirus solutions.
No antivirus running at the time of crash.
Adaware and Spybot scanned with no spyware found.
18 hrs of Prime95 without errors
18 hrs of memtest86+ without errors

Frustration ensues...

Have you considered a second, small, hd just for the page file?

I have a 40Gb disk, partitioned at 10Gb, with the rest occasionally used to backup a model before I try something.
