It looks like the BOINC is contacting the Predictor@Home scheduler instead of the CPDN one. Try deleting the file 'master.html' in your BOINC directory and then do a project update on climateprediction.net "The ultimate test of a moral society is the kind of world that it leaves to its children." - Dietrich Bonhoeffer |

I get the same message and climate still trying connect to predictor. ¿How is possible? Other projects seems to work fine (Einstein and SETI) Thanks again... |

Oh well, time for the sledgehammer approach :) If you're happy to edit files you can stop BOINC and edit client_state.xml in the BOINC directory (take a copy first just in case). You need to search for the string predictor_cgi. You should find 2 occurrences. Ignore the one in the predictor project block - the one you need to change is inside the project block for climateprediction.net, where you need to change the scheduler_url line to <scheduler_url>http://climateapps2.oucs.ox.ac.uk/cpdnboinc_cgi/cgi</scheduler_url> Save the file, restart BOINC and the CPDN update should work. That do the job Actually i found 4 times the string; 3 times in the predictor block and once in the climate block, just before the correct scheduler_url line, so i had 2 sheduler_url lines (??) First i delete the extra? scheduler_url line, but BOINC start to do funny things: replace the SETI project for a second climate project in the projects tab in the GUI O_O. So, i left the extra? sheduler_url line in the climate block changing to the correct address; and aparently all is working fine again. Even i dont´t understand the BOINC behavior or why this happen in first place, i´m glad to go back ;) Thank you so much Thyme... |
