I believe that CPDN has some excellent world views. However when I click on "show graphics" nothing happens. I also run SETI on this PC, and this happliy shows graphics. Any suggestions on how to get CPDN graphics please? I'm running on Windows XP home. Brian Brian |

I should add that I've (now!) read the other thread about ATI graphics cards and 4.25 not displaying graphics. I have a Radeon 9500/9700 series card, and am running 4.25. Brian Brian |

The options at the moment if you do want to see what is going on in your model are to downgrade to BOINC version 4.19, or to use the advanced visualisation (see the menu in the left). The advanced visualisation is most interesting, though, after you have run a model or two and really want to study them properly. Alternatively, you can wait in hope that the problem will be fixed soon. Some people have discovered that changing BOINC versions or drivers sometimes alters things for the better, but be warned that you might find that you can then see the CPDN graphics and not SETI, or even neither. The versions above 4.25 are very much for test purposes at the moment and have known problems. |
