The hadsm code no longer works with Win98SE. It 'got broken' somehow when BOINC 4.25 come out, and required a change to models to make them 'signed'.

The computer list on the download page hasn't been updated, as it was hoped that the problem may have been fixable.

There is always 'classic' CPDN, available from the Open University site. Check the blue menu to the left.
This doesn't use BOINC, so the credits are in a different "currency", and you can't run other projects.

Almost a dead heat :)

Unfortunately, hadsm 4.10-4.12 is <a href="http://www.climateprediction.net/board/viewtopic.php?p=26629#26629">unstable with WinME/98</a>. It is on the list for the lone IT person to fix, but it's been broken for a couple months now, and there is no estimate of when it might be fixed.
