Why does it take so long?

I've downloaded my first unit and it's estimated time to complete is: 591hrs 57mins. Is this correct?????? I have SETI@home running too, and now have a 50% share in resources. There is some discussion of this in the FAQ (see menu on left). 592hrs might be slightly longer than I would expect for a 3Ghz P4 but it could be right if the memmory is not the fastest. >Is it worth while continuing both? Sure why not? Resource share should pretty much be a personal preference of what projects you think deserve your crunching effort.
