I have the latest version of Boinc 4.25 and CP 4.12 yet I am unable to veiw a screensaver or the show graphics.

Do I need to allow it to process some of the WU before it shows anything?

There is a known problem with boinc 4.2x and above, combined with ATI cards and recent drivers. Some boinc graphics, not just cpdn, won't display. See this <a href="http://setiweb.ssl.berkeley.edu/forum_thread.php?id=12948">thread</a> in the Seti forums for more info. Options are to downgrade to 4.19, try older drivers, or just use the advanced visualization that you can download from the left menu. There have also been some problems reported with some intel graphics cards.

No, you should see the globe immediately when the Wu is running.
Some users with a ATI graphic card have some problems with BOINC projects graphics (not only CPDN)
Myself I don't see the viz with BOINC 4.43 but see it with BOINC 4.19 (?)

There is said to be a new ATI Catalyst driver that works for some people.
