I setup both Seti and Climateprediction yesterday and all that has run so far is Seti. Well Seti has run approx 12hrs 10 min and Climate has run approx 17 min. I set preferences at both sites for them each to have 50% of the computers time but they don't seem to be switching at all. I have the program set to run based on preferences, which I have set to "run all the time" or something like that. Any ideas, what am I missing. Thanks in advance. *edit* I left the interval between switching at the default of 60 minutes. |

What version of BOINC are you running? Carl did warn there may be some odd effects with versions later than 4.25. Do you get a change if you exit BOINC and then restart it? |

It may be that BOINC is doing the SETI units first because they are due back sooner. Over time it should give equal time to each, so my inclination would be not to worry about it at this stage, but see how it gets on over the next week or so. |

I'm running version 4.43 of BOINC. I tried shutting BOINC down and restarting, it didn't fix the problem. I'll see if they do even out over time. Hopefully it does. I'd like to contribute an equall amount of time to both. |

I agree with Andrew, check your boinc messages tab, and see if boinc has adopted a new work policy known as earliest deadline first, this happened to me when I upgraded a couple of days ago. It should sort itself out though. |
