I first installed Einstein@Home (BOINC 4.43). That works fine. However, I then attached SETI and ClimatePrediction. I had assumed that needed files would be downloaded, but nothing happened. The last option I see is to download BOINC from each of the two sites, but that not only seems redundant but also they only offer 4.19. |

CPDN only has 4.19 decause that is the latest REALLY stable version for THIS project. DON'T download another BOINC. It's not only redundant, but won't work, as there was a major change after 4.19 There will be messages in the BOINC message tab, and the same in one of the xml files in the BOINC folder. I think that you may have two separate problems: 1) You have set Einstein to request work too often, 2) There is a problem at Oxford which is preventing you from creating an appearance of your computer. 1) For info on the new scheduler, see <a href="http://boinc.berkeley.edu/sched.php"> this page.</a> Also, there is this from BOINCstats messages: ******** Grenadier: New work will not be downloaded on the newer versions if you have a negative long term debt for that project. Eisntein and SETI are now running. CP, however, does nothing more than enter a line in the BOINC manager and an empty folder in the BOINC project file. This is all true even when Einstein and SETI are suspended.
