I just joined this project. When I try to get some work, I keep getting the message I must free up 100 meg of disk space. I have several gigs of disk space free. what does Climate want?

For a single processor machine running CPDN you should allow BOINC at least a gigabyte of space if you can. A model will expand to about 600MB by the end of the run, and that will then be compressed to a little over 300MB. That completed model folder should be saved elsewhere on hard drive or CD/DVD if you can, though this is not essential. If space is really short you can delete it when it as finished.

You can read in the 'Preferences' section about the experiences that others have had in setting BOINC to allow enough disk space - for example here. There are three different settings that affect it; if you cannot get it to work ask for further advice.

There is advice on all aspects of BOINC here
