Trickles not uploading

spent about an hour reading through the forum but my out folder just keeps growing and no stats showing on my account page. Ive clicked update and got the usual connecting to... succeeded but no upload. Firewall is off and so is xp`s. WU 8% complete and dont know whether to finish it ?? Advice appreciated. Diablos |

If by out folder, you mean the dataout folder, it should continue increasing in size throughout the model run. The trickle files that you are producing to let the server know you are progressing, along with providing you credits, should be in your climateprediction.net directory, and have filenames including something like "trickleup" in them. However, these are probably being sent okay so you really shouldn't see them except momentarily before they are sent. If you are not seeing trickles on your account webpage, it is because there is a problem with the server. The trickles are likely being sent, and will likely be tallied when the server software is fixed. When that might be I hsve no idea but I am not holding my breath. |
