Reset is on the project tab in Boinc...... Unrecoverable error for result '(result)' ( - exit code -'(number)' ('(hex-number)')) From BOINCWiki Table of contents [showhide] 1 General 2 Version Information 3 Example Log(s) 3.1 Exit Code -1073741819 (0xc0000005)) 3.2 Exit Code -1073741674 (0xc0000096)) 3.3 Exit Code -1073741502 (0xc0000142)) 4 Other Related Messages 5 Also See [edit]General Message Type: Error Message This Message means that the BOINC Client Software, Science Application, or Operating System encountered a severe error. It should be noted that these errors may not indicate a specific problem with the software, but may be the result of a confluence of stray interactions that produces, um, a negative effect. These messages are called "Stop" messages for Microsoft Windows®. The messages and common ways to determine what and why these error are happening are in a Microsoft Knowledge Base Article (http://aumha.org/win5/kbestop.php). Common causes of these errors can be: Over stressed hardware, usually by heat. Flaky, or bad device drivers. An actual problem (Bug) in the BOINC Client Software, Science Application, or Operating System. A bad Work Unit (usually a rare occurrence). These errors have been sighted in all BOINC Powered Projects, so, the examples are merely typical occurrences. Note: Even though the "death" seems to point to one application or another, there is no telling from this message where the error really occurred. The error usually points at the Science Application but may well be something like a device driver. <a href="http://boinc-doc.net/boinc-wiki/index.php?title=Main_Page">Link to Unoffical Wiki for BOINC, by Paul and Friends</a> |

Also, you can safely ignore the message, and let the project run. If it wants to crash it will, but usually it doesn't. I've had a couple of these messages, ignored them, and the model completed successfully. |
