I don\'t know if anyone else has run into this problem, but I\'v just installed BOINC 4.45 and attached to both seti@home and climateprediction projects. I run into the problem though that the graphics display for CPDN doesn\'t work at all. In screensaver mode I just get a black screen, the \"show graphics\" button doesn\'t pop up a window either with the graphics. I know in a previous version I had no problems displaying the CPDN graphics (the globe and such) but now, I can\'t get it to work. The seti@home graphics work fine and dandy though. Any help appreciated. My system: * 1.3 GHz AMD Thunderbird (MMX/3dNow, but NO SSE (I know some 3d apps made with the latest compilers at default settings assume SSE, maybe that\'s the problem?)) * 1GB RAM * Windows XP Pro US-EN * ATI Radeon 9800 Pro, latest drivers. Checked the OpenGL extensions, everything in there is supported and passes the test. |

More than likely it is the BOINC > 4.1x and ATI problem. See this thread among others for an explanation. You can use the advanced visualization (available from the menu on the left) or CPView to view the visualization until they fix the ATI BOINC CPDN problem. |
