I noticed that the time to completion hasn\'t been decreasing lately. The last time I caught CPDN supposedly running, the task manager showed no CPU cycles being used: the computer took an hour break before starting up again with one of the other projects I crunch. This happened a few weeks ago, and when I suspended, then resumed the project, it started crunching again temporarily. I didn\'t see anything on the boards about this, am I SOL on this unit? Is it worth my computer\'s time to keep trying to restart it? MJ |

Perhaps you are having the benchmark failure problem where cpdn does not restart after a failed benchmark? http://climateapps2.oucs.ox.ac.uk/cpdnboinc/forum_thread.php?id=2921 What version of BOINC are you running? |

Hmm, that's a distinct possibility. BOINC version is 4.45, and it's an old CPDN workunit, hadsm3 4.04. Error logs show an aborted Benchmark since the last time a trickle got uploaded. And the logjam seems to have broken, after I rebooted the machine during a severe thunderstorm. None of my other projects had been affected. Thanks for the link, looks like the developers have been informed recently about this problem, hopefully a fix will be in an upcoming BOINC update. And thanks for the quick answer!
