I attempted to set up ClimatePrediction as a 4th member of my BOINC set up and was informed it was an invalid ID...I can\'t set up a new account because my email address is already registered...so now I do what??

You don't need a new account. Just enter the long string from your email, being VERY carefull not to include blanks before or after if you copy and paste.

You will also find it near the top of the xml file: account_climateprediction.net, (which is in your BOINC folder), where it is called authenticator.

Thanks for the info. Having just burned some time on a copy/paste error: why couldn\'t the BOINC software simply strip leading and trailing blanks from the text entered by the user, rather than requiring the user to be so careful? Mystifying.
