The FAQ said climateprediction.net wouldn\'t work if two copies were run, so I configured BOINC (which I had previously been using to run SETI@home) to only use one processor (one core of the P4). However, it\'s now listing two work units in the \'work\' tab. Is this going to cause it to break, and if so how to I make sure BOINC only uses one core, when according to the preferences I\'ve set it\'s supposed only to use one core at the moment? |

Which FAQ did you look at (I am aware of 3: One in left menu from here(under BOINC cp.net, one from the PHP forum and one under Contact & Support) If it is the one under Contact & Support, then this relates to the classic client. BOINC version does cope with doing two at a time. _______________________________ Visit <a href="http://boinc-doc.net/boinc-wiki/index.php?title=Climateprediction_FAQ">BOINC WIKI</a> for help And join <a href="http://www.boincsynergy.com/">BOINC Synergy</a> for all the news in one place. |

This menu system is rather confusing - I'd usually load pages in new tabs to avoid getting lost but I can't do it with this website because the menu uses Javascript rather than links. (Someone really should fix that, it's a major accessibility issue.) > BOINC version does cope with doing two at a time. That's okay then. Thanks for replying.
