The news item relates to upload servers, and at least one of them (uploader1.atm.ox.ac.uk) is back up. I don't know what the state of the other one (phkup21.bern.ch) is as I didn't have a result waiting to be sent to it.

The scheduler went down some time yesterday evening and is still down.

Just tried Bern again, but it's still down.
Oxford's trickle server is also still suffering software problems.
I'll try again in 12 hours. (Just after sunrise). It should be thursday evening then, in that part of the world.

Just had a thought: I wonder how high up Bern Uni is above the Aare?
If it's in the Old Town, they could be in trouble.

edit
Just had a quick Google, and "Switzerland.isyours" talks about "a short climb above the railway station" to the university district.

Bern is still down.
That's one week, and one day until the weekend.
It looks like being a repeat of the failure earlier in the year.

At least the trickle server is working again.
