Hi guys,

Boinc 4.05 just downloeds a WU correcly from Climate server, but when the download finished, it says that the client hadsm 4.03 starts computation, but there is no cpu-time spent for it (cpu is idle most of the time). In the tab "Work" --> column "CPU time" there are just "---" all the time (Status is "Running").

Has somebody the same problem? How can I fix it?

Perhaps check your Preferences, especially "Do work while computer is in use?"
Or try restarting BOINC or Windows, which you have propably already done...

One that has worked for me is to go to the Project tab, right-click on the project line, in this case the one starting with 'climate...', and select Update from the drop-down menu (need to be online for this to work). This method also sends any outstanding trickles if you have Deferring lines in your Messages tab because you were offline when trickle time occurred

Perhaps some info on your system (HW, SW) can help in investigation of your problem. Or someone else might have more ideas to try...

Unfortuately, the project ran out of work now.

I that case of desperation, i would try reset project (or perhaps Dettach/Attach again).
Reset project should delete files and download new client plus model and start from scratch.

Well, there is another thing that confussings me:

Are you running old-fashioned WinNT 4 or Win XP (perhaps with SP2)?
Your HW specifications are fine, but note that WinNT 4 are not supported

Take a look on technical requirements...

CPDN is unfortunately not currently working under NT4.
