In my messages i found \"scheduling earliest-deadline-first because computer is overcommitted\". What does this mean? I found this message after i reinstalled climate predicion on my boinc manager because it was \"freesed\". |

the BOINC developers are currently experimenting with the scheduling; one new thing you discovered is it will determine if a project's workunit really needs to finish and will try and run it as much as possible. |

See <a href="http://boinc-doc.net/boinc-wiki/index.php?title=Using_earliest-deadline-first_scheduling_because_computer_is_overcommitted.">Wiki</a> BOINC reckons it should work on earliest deadline WUs because it might have difficulty finishing all the work it has got by the deadlines. It is quite normal if you attach to einstein and a few other projects. Not sure of the deadline for CPDN sulphur cycle models. If you have one and the deadline is short, I think we may hear a lot about this on these boards. The work tab should show the to completion time and the deadlines.
