Hi,
Our IT manager has taken me off-line (connecting) but allowed me to keep running the programme, however, now I need to reconnect and I am not sure from all the info on my personal page what the project URL is and what my account ID is?

Could you let me know?
Thanks
Jose from Team Monkey

Reading project url and id from the xml-files of boinc:

In your BOINC-Folder you will find a file called "account_climateprediction.net.xml" (for CP.net). Open it in notepad or some other text editor of your choice. In this File you will find some XML-Tags.
Search for [master_url]asdfg...[/master_url] (should be line 2). The address between these 2 tags is the project-url ("http://climateprediction.net/" for CP.net). 1 line further you will find these tags... [authenticator]asdfg....[/authenticator] The code between these Tags is your project ID. The ID has a length of 32 and consists of numbers and letters (a to f).

note: used [ ] for the tags, cause this forum doesnt allow the normal tags

Hope this will help you out.

Hi Bernd,

Am sorry but am not managing to find the file \"account_climateprediction.net.xml\" (for CP.net)you are referring to. Have found my ID in the meantime.

Any more detailed direction would be great,
Thanks
Jose

The project url is http://climateprediction.net
Be sure to avoid having spaces at either end.
If you are running off line, how do you plan to upload the trickles, and the final zip files?
