Consider aborting it. 9/3/2005 2:48:32 PM|climateprediction.net|Result 01i8_600026937_0 is 134512.82 days overdue. 9/3/2005 2:48:32 PM|climateprediction.net|You may not get credit for it. Consider aborting it. That\'s the error message i get after i changed my cmos battery because my bios settings were not getting saved. Is there anyway to remedy this problem? |

Since that is happening my computer is overcommitted and only does work on climateprediction workunits while other projects have deadlines due within the next month. Currently my only option is to suspend climatepredition from doing any work because i don't want to abort the workunits. |

You may have a Sulphur model, which has a 5 month deadline, as the data is needed early next year for the start of the Coupled Ocean model. It might be time for you to reconsider the number of projects on which you work. |

that's strange because boinc is giving the right date: 9/3/2005 2:48:32 PM|climateprediction.net|Result 01gn_600026880_0 is 134512.82 days overdue. and 134512 days, it's 368 years so the deadline is ~1637 AD :o) (very old indeed !) Just check your settings in the BIOS (not only the date, but all the settings) ----------------------------------------------- Boinc Wiki L'Alliance Francophone |

Other projects are displaying the right deadline dates. |

My guess is that you could let it run since, if i'm not badly misinformed, the actual deadline check is done when the wu is uploaded back to cpdn... |

Plus the battery was not keeping the time and bios settings for a day or so. Well if i did that other projects won't get their work done since the new new deadline is 300 odd years back because the boinc client would be over commited. |

Does anyone else have any ideas to solve my problem without aborting the work units or scraficing my commitments to other projects? |

> Does anyone else have any ideas to solve my problem without aborting the work > units or scraficing my commitments to other projects? The only idea I have is to suspend the climateprediction.net project in the Projects tab of the BOINC GUI. It should then work on the other projects. Of course it's kind of manual then to do any work on climateprediction. |
