Are you getting that after pressing the update button? Are you also running other projects and getting a message about the computer being overcommitted? If so, don't reset as this will only delay BOINC deciding it has done enough work on other projects and decide to start CPDN. If not, please provide more information. _______________________________ Visit BOINC WIKI for help And join BOINC Synergy for all the news in one place. |

I have also pressed the update button with the same results. I'm only running one other project, but didn't receive any message about overcommitment so that shouldn't be an issue. What informatie can I provide more? |

Hmm. What are your preference settings for 'connect to network about every', for the disk space settings, and for 'do work while computer is in use' and 'do work only between the hours of'? What is the other project and how many WU are in the work tab for that project? Is WU 1see_100104315 on your computer in the work tab and/or an xml file and/or a directory? Are there some more messages you can post here? _______________________________ Visit BOINC WIKI for help And join BOINC Synergy for all the news in one place. |

The connect setting is standard, I reserved 5 Gb harddisk space and do work whil e computer is in use is on, do work only is of. The other project is Seti@Home both have 100 WU. Yesterday my computer suddenly downloaded hadsm3 4.13 1see_ and 1u00_ but the status is preempted. > Hmm. > > What are your preference settings for 'connect to network about every', for > the disk space settings, and for 'do work while computer is in use' and 'do > work only between the hours of'? > > What is the other project and how many WU are in the work tab for that > project? > > Is WU 1see_100104315 on your computer in the work tab and/or an xml file > and/or a directory? > > Are there some more messages you can post here? > > > > _______________________________ > Visit href="http://boinc-doc.net/boinc-wiki/index.php?title=Climateprediction_FAQ">BOINC > WIKI for help > > And join BOINC Synergy for all the > news in one place. > |

Glad you have got work now and a trickle. It will show pre-empted when it is working on SETI but should switch back and forth between projects. (I am not sure why you got slab models rather than a sulphur model. Maybe it was due to a sulphur model crashing.) _______________________________ Visit BOINC WIKI for help And join BOINC Synergy for all the news in one place. |
