I have been running CPDN and Seti with resources set at 50/50.Why then will CPDN get preempted until seti is finished ? If I download 2 wu for Seti I would think Boinc would complete one wu and then shift to CPDN for an equal period of time before running the 2nd Seti wu ? My experience is that Boinc will finish all Seti wu\'s before switching to CPDN !?!

You have a sulphur run with a tight deadline. While the deadlines are not a problem, BOINC should share time in proportion to resource share over a short period. If hitting deadlines looks like a problem, then BOINC switches to a deadline oriented approach and will only balance time per resource share over a long period.
