I currently donate processor time to climate prediction as well as LHC. I was wondering how to change the percent of shared resources between the two projects without detaching from the project. It is a pain to keep downloading those files every time I detach. Understand? Thank you in advance for all your help! I am currently running version 4.45 of BOINC windows XP 2.2.6 GHz processor |

By default the resource share for any project is set to 100. The resource shares are then added together. If you are attached to two projects that gives each 100/200 = 50%. To change, go to your account page in either project and edit the preferences for that project. For example, if you want to spend two thirds of your time on CPDN, change the resource share to 200 - that would give you 200/300. Or you could change LHC to 50 giving that project 50/150. You can use any numbers. Then update in BOINC. |

Go to your account on the left menu then to climateprediction.net preferences. Edit, update on the web page then update from BOINC. Detach should be the last resort. There is also suspend of a WU, a project or of all crunching via BOINC. HTH Visit BOINC WIKI for help And join BOINC Synergy for all the news in one place. |
