I get errors like this quite often, ever since I upgraded to v4.45b and wondered what might be causing it? I\'ve not been able to successfully submit anything for one reason or another for some 3 weeks now.

26/09/2005 03:31:09|climateprediction.net|Unrecoverable error for result 46nr_b00295527_0 (<file_xfer_error> <file_name>46nr_b00295527_0_1.zip</file_name> <error_code>-161</error_code> <error_message></error_message></file_xfer_error><file_xfer_error> <file_name>46nr_b00295527_0_2.zip</file_name> <error_code>-161</error_code> <error_message></error_message></file_xfer_error><file_xfer_error> <file_name>46nr_b00295527_0_3.zip</file_name> <error_code>-161</error_code> <error_message></error_message></file_xfer_error><file_xfer_error> <file_name>46nr_b00295527_0_4.zip</file_name> <error_code>-161</error_code> <error_message></error_message></file_xfer_error><file_xfer_error> <file_name>46nr_b00295527_0_5.zip</file_name> <error_code>-161</error_code> <error_message></error_message></file_xfer_error>)

I was also wondering if this is related or a separate problem to it refusing to download new units?

I think that you have 3 separate problems:
The upload of the zips for the failed model, (not sure about error 161),
No download of new data sets, (caused by your computer crashing too many in one day),
And computer instability. (You have a lot of -5 errors)

The last may benefit from a read of <a href=\"http://www.climateprediction.net/board/viewtopic.php?t=2124\"> this</a> item on maintenance, and <a href=\"http://www.climateprediction.net/board/viewtopic.php?t=2126\"> this</a> on stability tests.

Something as simple as removing the dust from the cpu heatsink can drop your processor temperature 20 degrees.
There is a temperature monitor <a href=\"http://mbm.livewiredev.com/\"> here</a> called motherboard monitor.
The version I use is MBM5, which puts some numbers in your system tray.
