Hi there.

Nothing is ever displayed in the \"Work Completed\" and \"Project Credit\" fields for cp.net. I get info for the SETI and other projects. Is any real work being done? Certainly I notice CPU cycles being used… but the lack of info worries me :-(

TIA,
Jamie Kahn Genet

CP is not like the other projects.
It takes a long time to run, measured in weeks, or even months for some people, and you have to crunch long enough to get to a \'trickle\' before you get anything showing in your account.
And then you have to wait until the credit allocation program runs, which is at about 12 hour intervals, before you see any credits.

So, if you are running lots of projects, and cp is only getting a small share of computer time, you won\'t see anything for quite a while.
And it would also be a good idea to set \"leave applications in memory\" to yes in your general preferences, otherwise you may simply be restarting again from the start each time cp gets it\'s turn.

There is some info on trickles <a href=\"http://climateapps2.oucs.ox.ac.uk/cpdnboinc/quick_faq.php#l\"> here.</a>
