There is a problem with automatic selection of correct charset for CPDN/BOINC web pages. Pages like \"Create an Account\" that has translations for some languages are incorrectly shown in russian cyrillic charset. All symbols are strange (there are squares, question marks, etc). Russian translation is in Unicode(UTF-8) but Internet explorer (I have IE6-SP2, WinXP SP2 Pro) incorrectly selects Western European (ISO) encoding charset. Viewing source through IE menu I saw a line of HTML code: {meta http-equiv=\"Content-Type\" content=\"text/html; charset=iso-8859-1\"} But it should be like: {meta http-equiv=\"Content-Type\" content=\"text/html; charset=utf-8\"} Please, can you correct this problem? Thanks, Nikolay. PS: *code* BBcode tag doesn\'t work ??? :( |
