Sounds like something\'s gone wrong in your client_state.xml file, because according to the webpage for your result it has a deadline of 5 Oct 2006 20:12:32 UTC.

If you\'re only running CPDN it\'s not going to be a problem as deadlines aren\'t enforced and (as you\'ve already spotted) you\'ll continue to get credits for it.

If you\'re running any other projects you could run into problems. I\'m not sure how the BOINC work scheduler handles results that are massively in the past, but it should be possible to modify client_state.xml to correct the deadline if it\'s causing any problems. If you need advice on how to do this just ask again.

The client currently does nothing but warn you when the deadline is in the past, no matter how far. So the only problem with letting it run is that other projects will not get processing time until it finishes.

If it was my machine I would probably set all projects to no new work, then suspend CPDN until it was the only workunit left. After all other work was finished resume CPDN and then allow new work.
