My Win-Account (WinXP home) hasn\'t a password (I know, thats not realy clever, but it is WinXP home-standard). the first login after the update to 5.2.2 was working, but the try a day after (today) doesn\'t. what should I do, except of using win-password? greets, micha |

It\'s a new feature with BOINC 5.2.x Look in your main BOINC folder and you will find a text file called gui_rpc_auth.cfg. The contents of this file is a randomly generated string which you use for the password on that machine. You can change it to any string you like including, I think, a blank line. Ian |
