Can you post the messages you are getting? There were problems in uploading to Bern, but they were thought to have been solved.

Which BOINC version are you using?

There is at least one serious bug in 4.45
There is a thread about it <a href=\"http://climateapps2.oucs.ox.ac.uk/cpdnboinc/forum_thread.php?id=2855\"> here,</a> and another <a href=\"http://climateapps2.oucs.ox.ac.uk/cpdnboinc/forum_thread.php?id=2921\"> here.</a>
There is an unofficial fix <a href=\"http://arnaudboinc.free.fr/\"> here</a> with 4.45b.
Or you could upgrade to the latest 5.* version. It\'s apparently difficult to downgrade from 5.* to a 4.* version if you change your mind.

However, this may NOT solve your current problem.
Have you tried suspending/exiting BOINC, and then rebooting? This sometimes cures strange problems.

There are no know problems with the upload servers at present. There was one at Bern, a left over from their last crash, but Carl has fixed that with new server software.
The new version of BOINC allows for a set of servers in case one is unreachable, but I\'m fairly sure that you can\'t fiddle with the xml file because that part is check-summed to prevent tampering.

In your previous thread, Thyme Lawn said it may be a firewall or proxy problem.
Have you checked this, regards of the other projects? Thyme Lawn\'s advice is always worth following. For one thing, the other projects don\'t have separate servers for trickles, because they don\'t have trickles.

I upgraded to 5.2.2
and now i´ve got a different error:

08.11.2005 08:17:40|climateprediction.net|Started upload of 1qqq_100102146_1_4.zip
08.11.2005 08:17:45|climateprediction.net|Temporarily failed upload of 1qqq_100102146_1_4.zip: error 413

I am passing data trough a squid proxy with fw. Are there any special ports used ?
Or does the error point to a different corner ?

You\'ve just passed beyond what I know.
You need someone like Thyme Lawn or John Keck for this.

That\'s a bit more helpful. It looks like there\'s a size limit configured in your proxy server.

413 is the HTTP response code for \"Request Entity Too Large\", which translates to:

The server is refusing to process a request because the request entity is larger than the server is willing or able to process.
