Running CP since september it started to close down the system due to windows problems after completing 18- 19 trickles . Problem appears sometimes minutes after restart .

Compaq Laptop with :
AuthenticAMD mobile AMD Athlon(tm) XP2600+
Microsoft Windows XP Professional Edition, Service Pack 2, (05.01.2600.00)

Any help available for this problem ?

Your computer could be overheating. Support it off the desk a little, with the back a bit higher, to increase airflow.
Also, it\'s possible that the airduct inside is clogged with dust.

Are there any messages, (in the BOINC Message tab), that you\'re getting around the time it shuts down that relate to this?
Does Suspend, Exit, then power down, reboot, help?

Looks like you are right , lifting the laptop from the desk helped, since now I have no shutdowns , but still problems using the docking station ( there is for sure a lower airflow using the docking station , airduct is free , there are no messages in the BOINC message tab !

Thanks anyway
