I am using BOINC software client for some years now, just having a seti-at-home-account. Just some minutes ago I created my account at cp.net and I got the email confirmation with account name, email adress, project URL and account key.
Starting the BOINC client 5.2.7 for Windows, this piece of s/w is not able to attach to the cp.net account. I have tried to use the BOING wizard but it always failed to connect to an existing account using the email adress and the account key. Is there any problems with that known as I do not have an account password?
The latest changes said that it is not longer used to use the account key but only the password which I do not have.
Any help?

Hi,
I have solved it my own and the host just does not accept the account key even it is labled in the wizard. I changed, better saying created an account key and it immediately accepted the account and now let\'s go for the project...

This for 5.2.x CCs
When you activated your account, you got an account key, but did you create a password for your account. If you didn\'t, you can do it when you go to \"Your account\" with \"Change password\".
With that password, not the password of Classic, and your e-mail address it should work.
