I had a pwr. outage the other day, and when I restarted the computer and CPDN, it appeared that all the work was lost. I had about 68% done at 280hrs. (To complete a WU on this computer takes about 455:00) It showed no cpu time and still 280:00, I have let it run for several days now, and it appears that it is starting all over again. It is now at 10% and 325:00. I have checked my file and it shows the last update as the 5th. of Nov. and I have tried many times to update since then. Any suggestions. |

Did you read my response to your other thread? That should have given you the answer. No trickles will be listed, no credits will be added to your total for that PC until it passes the point it was at before the outage. |

No I did not, as I was also asking the question on the BOINC Synergy site. Yes I have now read your response and I thnak you for the clear explanation. I am in it for the science so I am going to let it run. It is frustrating to see all that work time gone by the way side. |

Regular backups are boring, but sensible nonetheless. And not just for BOINC ;-) |
