There could be several reasons for the climateprediction application not running, so you will have to eliminate some first. 1. If you have general preferences set to do work only when the computer is inactive, change them for now (from \'your account on the left) then click \'update\' in BOINC 2. Close BOINC from File/exit and restart. Does the application start then? 3. If not, check that BOINC is not suspended. 4. Is another application running instead? 5. What messages do you get in the messages tab? 6. If you are running BOINC 4.45, update it. 4.45 is only suitable for climateprediction in a patched version because it can give a false indication that the application is running. If you are still having problems, tell us which BOINC version you are using and what is in your messages tab. |
