Hi, I do not like the sulphur cycle jobs running on my computer in conjunction with other CPDN models such as hadsm3 jobs. Windows XP shuts it down within minutes of launching the application BOINC client program. Before when I had 2 hadsm3 jobs running - windows was happy to let both of them run for long periods without problems. Can I suggest an option for participants to either contribute or not to the sulphur cycle jobs in the user preferences control panel? I have aborted several times now within minutes before windows shuts it down, the sulphur cycle jobs because I don\'t want them running on my computer. |

Slab has been shut down, at least for the moment, and a large number of sulphur data sets generated, because the researchers want more sulphur. Best bet would be to set your prefs for 1 cpu, and let slab run. When it finishes, you\'ll have to trouble shoot your computer. Or just shoot it. :) |
