The Q&A says that data will be accepted even if it is completed past the deadline. My CPU has processed 3.93 units in 71:52:39. With other projects, Climate Prediction gets 1.67 hours a day. At that rate, I won\'t finish the current unit until August 2008, almost two years past the deadline. I plan to press on unless work completed in 2007 and 2008 will likely be too old to be of use. <img src='http://www.boincsynergy.com/images/stats/comb-1462.jpg'> |

I am not the one to say, but that seems like a long time especially for a Sulphur WU. You need to give it a lot more time. If you can not do more time may be a good idea to cut the loses and detach from CPDN and run another project with a shorter deadline..... Just a suggestion.....;o) BOINC Wiki |

The result will probably not be much use by then. The project will be well into experiment 2, and possibly approaching the final part, experiment 3. Best to do as Jim suggested, and either increase cpdn share a lot, or abort the model and detach from this project. |

The result will complete faster than you think. When BOINC works out that the Sulphur model is going to miss its deadline it will enter EDF scheduling mode, exhaust the work queues for the other projects and run CPDN exclusively until the model completes. Then it won\'t download any work for CPDN until the debt that the other projects have accumulated has been recovered.
