1. I\'d installed boinc 5.2.13, on my computer, but I couldn\'t attach to climateprediction project. So I had to install version 4.19 2. I started to download a files, but I cann\'t download sulphur*.* files. can you help me? Is there any place, where I can download necessery files manually? Thanks |

Version 4.19 of BOINC is quite old, and not really suited to the newer sulphur experiments. I\'m not sure that is the cause of the problem, but it might be better to solve the difficulty you have been having with BOINC 5 instead. Unfortunately, that is not straightforward because the two versions are not compatible. You would need to uninstall BOINC 4.19 (use the add/remove option in control panel) and then use the very latest version of BOINC 5.2. That should have solved most of the problems people have been experiencing. You will not lose your BOINC folder, and can install the new version into that. If you are then still having problems attaching, post on this board and people will try to sort it out. Include any messages BOINC is giving you. Even if you solved your difficulties with 4.19 BOINC servers may soon stop allowing new work to 4.19 clients anyway. |

Since you should now have attached to cpdn with 4.19, you should be able to uninstall it, and install BOINC 5.2.13 into that directory, as Andrew says, and you will already be attached. |
